Regarding the disclosure of the children believed to be the children of Kim Yo-jong, Vice Chairman of the Workers' Party, in a video of North Korea's New Year's celebration, the National Intelligence Service said it is conducting a detailed analysis of the possibility of being true given the age group of the children.

Chosun Central TV released a live video of the New Year's celebration on the 1st, showing Vice Minister Kim holding the boy's hand and walking outside the venue together with the girl for a few seconds.

Rumors of marriage, pregnancy, and childbirth have been steadily raised about Kim Jong-un's brother, Kim Jong-un, but they have not been officially confirmed yet.

However, in April 2015, the National Intelligence Service assessed in a report by the National Assembly Intelligence Committee that Kim was about to give birth, estimating that her husband was a colleague of Kim Il-sung University.

In February 2018, a government source said that Kim, who visited the South at the time, was pregnant, and rumors of a second pregnancy came out.
