Ambassador-designate Dai visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to meet with Vice Foreign Minister Chung Byung-won to convey the Chinese government's condolences over the Jeju Air plane accident.
Chung thanked the Chinese government for its condolences and asked for the role of Dai's ambassador-designate in the development of Korea-China relations.
The ambassador-designate expressed his appreciation for Chung's welcome and said he will continue to communicate closely with the South Korean side so that Korea-China relations can develop through cooperation in various fields in the future.
