2.9 magnitude earthquake in Geochang, Gyeongsangnam-do..."Dish and window breaking".

A 2.9-magnitude earthquake struck Geochang, Gyeongsangnam-do, at around 3:28 p.m. today (3rd).

The epicenter of the earthquake was 14km south of Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and the depth of the epicenter was analyzed to be 8km.

Almost everyone felt vibrations due to the earthquake, bowls and windows were broken, and a magnitude 5 vibration was detected that could cause unstable objects to fall.

In Busan, North Gyeongsang Province, and Honam regions, the shaking of magnitude 2 was delivered to the extent that people in high-rise buildings can feel.

The Korea Meteorological Administration analyzed that although some strong shaking was detected in the Gyeongbuk area, the possibility of leading to damage was small because the earthquake was not large.
