A fire broke out at an empty shopping mall on the sixth floor of a 13-story complex in Sangdong, Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, at around 8:30 p.m. the day before yesterday (2nd).
No one was injured in the fire, but several citizens in the building evacuated themselves.
Fire authorities issued the first stage of response and put 34 equipment and 91 personnel in to extinguish all the fires in 20 minutes.
The fire department is investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
