Police investigate 99 malicious posts of the Jeju Air disaster and arrest one person.

As of 5 p.m. yesterday (4th), the National Police Agency launched an investigation into 99 malicious posts mocking the victims and their families of the Jeju Air plane disaster.

The police said, "Posting cyber malicious posts and videos related to the disaster is a serious criminal act," adding, "Please refrain from posting rumors and malicious posts so that the bereaved family does not suffer any more."

Earlier, the Jeonnam Police Agency's cybercrime investigation team arrested a man in his 30s who is suspected of posting slanderous messages about compensation for the bereaved families of the disaster yesterday.
