Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has emerged as the heavyweight of the second Trump administration in the U.S., continues to shoot current leaders by expressing support for political forces around Europe.

Amid criticism that political intervention as a foreign figure has crossed the line, there are also observations that it may have a greater impact after the inauguration of the Trump administration.

Correspondent Jo Su-hyun reports from London.

Elon Musk Emerges as Head of Government Efficiency in U.S. Trump's 2nd Administration
[Elon Musk / Tesla CEO (November last year): Your money is being wasted and the Government Efficiency Department will correct it.]

As Musk's breath grew, some even said, "Is Musk the president?" and Trump himself tried to evolve.

[Donald Trump / U.S. President-elect (last month 22nd): (Musk) cannot be president because he was not born in this country. But he's a great guy and we want to join him.]

Musk, who will take a public role in the U.S. government beyond businessmen, has recently expanded his stride to European politics, continuing his relentless move.

Following his expression of support for Germany's far-right party ahead of next month's general election, he accused German President Steinmeier of being a tyrant.

When President Steinmeier pointed out Musk-owned SNS "X" as a hotbed for public opinion manipulation, German politicians are in a mood to check Musk.

Musk also met with Farage, leader of the British Reform Party, dubbed the "British version of Trump," criticized Starmer and called for an early general election based on polls showing a slump in the ruling Labour Party's approval rating.

In the meantime, Italian Prime Minister Jorja Meloni showed off his friendship with Musk and praised him as a special innovator.

It forms a strange atmosphere as it defends Musk, who is under the glare of European countries.

Politico Europe, a political media outlet, predicted that Meloni will serve as a bridge between the Trump administration and Europe as he gets closer to Trump through Musk.

Amid the unstable political situation in European countries, Elon Musk, who has emerged as a heavyweight to Trump's second-term government, is expected to affect European politics.
