Controversy has continued over allegations that the Presidential Security Service even mobilized soldiers in charge of security outside the official residence to prevent the execution of arrest warrants against Yoon Suk Yeol's president.

The bodyguard says it is not true, but the Ministry of National Defense has asked the bodyguard again not to mobilize soldiers to block the arrest of President Yoon.

Reporter Hong Sun-ki reports.

The high-ranking government official's crime investigation office said soldiers were also in the cordon of the presidential security office, which they first encountered when executing an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol.

And this military force rejoined the third cordon and prevented the arrest of President Yoon.

The Airborne Division explained that the soldiers were part of the 55th Guard Corps, which is responsible for security outside the presidential residence.

The 55th Guard is a member of the Army Capital Defense Command, but is under the command of the Presidential Security Service due to the specificity of the mission.

The security service denied allegations that it mobilized 55 guards were untrue.

However, the Ministry of National Defense directly explained when criticism was raised that the military, which had been at the forefront of the illegal emergency martial law, had also taken the lead in protecting the head of the rebellion.

Acting Defense Minister Kim Sun-ho told the security service in advance not to mobilize military troops to block the president's arrest warrant.

In addition, he explained to the head of the 55th Guard that he separately instructed that there should not be any physical conflict with the police during the execution of the warrant.

At the same time, he also said he once again asked the security to operate the supported security unit to meet the mission.

The Defense Ministry, however, does not say whether the 55th Guard has actually been mobilized, so the controversy is expected to continue for some time.

The police special investigation team has asked the head of the 55th Guard to appear as a reference.
