The opposition has decided to file a complaint against presidential aides and members of the presidential security service, as they said they would not attend pending questions from the National Assembly's steering committee.

The steering committee received a statement of reasons for not attending the plenary session from 22 witnesses from the presidential office, the national security office, and the security agency, including Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok and National Security Office Shin Won-sik.

Chief of Staff Chung, Chief of the National Security Office Shin, Chief of Policy Sung Tae-yoon of the Presidential Office, and Kim Tae-hyo, the first deputy chief of the National Security Office, cited the fact that the investigation is underway as reasons for their absence.

In response, the members of the opposition's operating committee held a press conference and said they would continue to hold meetings and repeat the adoption and accusation of witnesses until they attend.
