Three people were killed in a fishing boat accident with 22 people off the coast of Sinan, Jeollanam-do.

It is believed that an accident occurred when a ship on its way to a fishing spot collided with a reef.

The 9.7-ton fishing boat accident with 22 people off the coast of Gageodo Island, Sinan, at around 10:25 a.m.,
Three fishing club members from Incheon and Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, were killed in the
accident.

In addition, two people showed symptoms of hypothermia and were taken to a hospital, but they are not known to be life-threatening.

The fishing boat of two crew members reportedly left Seomang Port in Jindo Island with 20 of their fellow members and went to a place where fish were caught well, and collided with a reef.
