Producing Deep Fake Composites for Girls' Photographs... High School Students Are Accused

The Chungbuk National Police Agency booked without detention a high school student A, who made a deepfake composite using a photo of a female student attending the same school.

Mr. A is accused of producing and possessing a photo of a female student's face at the same school in September last year by combining it with another woman's nude photo.

The police explained that there was no circumstance that the compound was circulated as a result of forensics of A's electronic devices, and that they will send it to the prosecution soon.
