[Daegu] 'Daegu Gyeongbuk Integration' Special Act enacted by the second half of the year

Daegu City held a meeting with the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the Local Times Committee, and Gyeongsangbuk-do, and decided to enact the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Administrative Integration Special Act by the second half of the year.

In addition, they discussed ways to improve the completeness of the special bill so that Daegu-Gyeongbuk Special City can be launched smoothly in July next year, as well as preparations such as persuading residents.

As soon as the political situation is stabilized, the Daegu Metropolitan Government plans to prepare to start the process of government consultations and parliamentary proposals, and to establish a detailed plan by operating a preparatory team for launch along with the proposal of a special bill.
