It is our highest-ranking official's visit to the U.S. amid political turmoil after the emergency martial law incident on the 3rd of last month.
The Ministry of Industry said that Minister Ahn will visit Georgia, where our companies are located, on the 6th and 7th local time, and then visit Washington, D.C. from the 8th to the 10th.
Ahn will meet with Republican figures to send a message that Korean companies need to stabilize their business environment, and meet with major think tanks and industry officials to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation.
