The organizing committee of the 2026 Daegu World Masters Athletics Competition has been designated as a public interest corporation, a donation population.

As a result, the organizing committee will be able to receive donations or goods from individuals or corporations by the end of next year, and individuals or corporations who donate will be able to receive tax benefits.

The World Masters Athletics Championships is a sports festival involving retired elite athletes such as Olympic medalists and sportsmen aged 35 or older, and will be held at Daegu Stadium from August 22 to September 3 next year.
