U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken said Trump's interest in buying Danish Greenland was clearly not a good idea.

Blinken made the remarks at a joint press conference with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro in Paris, France, on the 8th.

"What's more important is that it's definitely an idea that can't be realized," Blinken said, adding that he should not waste much time talking about the issue.

In addition, regarding Tesla Inc TSLA CEO Elon Musk's involvement in European politics, he only stated in principle that Musk, like other Americans, has the right to express his views.

Blinken, who made a farewell visit to France following South Korea and Japan, assessed that the U.S. and France worked together to reach a ceasefire in Lebanon and drew global support for Russia's invaded Ukraine.
