Breaking News Heavy snow warning issued in Buan, North Jeolla Province

Amid heavy snow around the west coast, a heavy snow warning has been issued in Buan, Jeollabuk-do.

The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that a heavy snow warning will be in effect in Buan at 8:40 a.m. today.

A heavy snow warning is issued when snow is predicted to accumulate more than 20 cm in 24 hours.

Excluding Buan, Jeollabuk-do, heavy snow warnings are in effect in Honam, the west coast of Chungnam, and mountainous areas of Jeju.
