Hynix Shares Jump 5% On 'Jensen Hwang-Choi Tae-won Meeting'

SK Hynix's stock price rose more than 5% in early trading as news of the meeting between Nvidia CEO Jensen Hwang and SK Chairman Chey Tae-won was announced.

SK Hynix's stock price surpassed 200,000 won at the opening, and once rose to 205,000.

On the other hand, Samsung Electronics, which soared more than 3% yesterday, is in a mixed state.

The KOSPI is strong amid net foreign buying and institutional selling, while the KOSDAQ index is falling on net selling by foreigners and institutions.

On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the won-dollar exchange rate opened at 1,458.6 won, up 3.6 won, slightly falling.

The won-dollar exchange rate rose to 1,4644.5 won early this morning, but has since fallen to the 1,450 won range.
