The People's Power urged the Democratic Party of Korea to reveal the whole story of the money election to the public, with former Democratic Party leader Song Young-gil being sentenced to prison in the first trial on charges of receiving illegal political funds.

Senior spokesman Shin Dong-wook said in a commentary that although Song was acquitted of the alleged spread of money envelopes, former lawmaker Yoon Kwan-seok, who was already identified as a money carrier, was convicted.

Six opposition lawmakers accused of receiving money said they had been refusing to comply with the prosecution's call for summons for nearly a year, criticizing the fact that they remained silent, rather than revealing the truth, when illegal activities were revealed, as double and cowardly.

Floor spokesman Seo Ji-young also stressed that those participating in the "Money Envelope Party Tran Party Congress" should not avoid it and immediately investigate it, and that the investigative agency also wants to reveal the whole story in detail with an investigation without sanctuary.
