Father-in-law arrested for wielding a weapon against his daughter-in-law

Mapo Police Station in Seoul is investigating a man in his 70s who wielded a weapon against his daughter-in-law.

A 79-year-old man is accused of injuring his 50-year-old daughter-in-law by wielding a weapon several times at his son's couple's home in Changjeon-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, at around 8:20 a.m. today (10th).

The daughter-in-law, who injured her shoulder, was taken to the hospital, but it was found that her life was not affected.

The police believe that A committed the crime after family discord, and plan to request an arrest warrant after investigating the specific circumstances.
