Park Jong-joon, the head of the Presidential Security Service, submitted his resignation in line with the police summons investigation.

The Security Service said that Park, the head of the bodyguard, submitted his resignation to Acting President Choi Sang-mok this morning (10th) while attending a police summons investigation.

An official from the security service explained that Kim Sung-hoon, deputy head of the security service, is expected to be acting in accordance with the relevant regulations when Park is unable to perform his duties, such as being summoned by the police.
