At CES, the world's largest consumer electronics and information technology exhibition, Chungcheongnam-do signed a large-scale investment attraction agreement with a global innovative company.

In addition, a base office was established in the United States to strengthen the export competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the province.

It was developed by Koning, a world-class innovative company in the United States, and is currently produced at a domestic workplace in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do.

Special glass used in automobiles is also made and supplied by this company.

Chungcheongnam-do has signed a large-scale investment agreement with Corning's Korean subsidiary at CES, the world's largest consumer electronics information technology exhibition in the United States.

At the request of the company, we decided not to disclose the amount of investment and production, but the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do will be promoted.

Twenty-four companies from Chungnam participated in this year's CES and received high attention by introducing various high-tech technologies.

As of the end of last year, more than 500 small and medium-sized enterprises in South Chungcheong Province entered the U.S.

Chungcheongnam-do met with overseas Korean businessmen and asked for support for companies in the province to expand their sales channels, and set up an overseas office in LA in the United States to provide full-fledged support.

Chungcheongnam-do's gross regional product target for this year is 3%, higher than the government's forecast for economic growth of 1.8%.

Local governments are actively attracting investment and expanding exports amid global economic uncertainty, increasing their competitiveness.
