In Seoul, where the morning minimum temperature has fallen to minus 12 degrees Celsius, the lowest this winter, 131 reports of freezing water meters have been received.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government said 131 cases of meter freeze occurred from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. today (10th) and all of them have been recovered.
There were no cold-related patients or damage from freezing water pipes.
According to the cold wave warning, the Seoul Metropolitan Government operates a cold wave situation room consisting of 88 classes and 356 people.
