The U.S. Supreme Court has conducted a high-intensity interrogation on a bill to ban TikTok from using the U.S. starting on the 19th if it does not sell TikTok, a popular social media program run by ByteDance in China.

Nine U.S. Supreme Court justices discussed freedom of expression related to TikTok and national security concerns raised by the Biden administration, raising intense questions for ByteDance's lawyer.

The Associated Press reported, "It seemed highly likely that the U.S. Supreme Court would support a bill that would ban TikTok from being used in the U.S. from the 19th if it was not sold."

The Biden administration has claimed that China can monitor Americans through TikTok, while ByteDance and TikTok users have countered that the "anti-TikTok bill" violates freedom of expression.

Trump opposed the "anti-TikTok bill" and asked the Supreme Court to delay the sell-off deadline set for the 19th, giving the second Trump administration a chance to come up with a political solution to the issues in the case.
