A meeting of bereaved families was held behind closed doors, is the meeting over?

[Reporter]
Yes, the entire meeting of the bereaved families was held on the first floor of Muan Airport from 11 a.m.

The general meeting ended a little while ago.

We discussed the direction of future activities for four hours.

First of all, the joint memorial system scheduled for the 18th is one of the main agendas.

As it is a memorial service to commemorate 179 victims of the plane disaster, we plan to set detailed locations, sizes, and procedures.

At the same time, it is expected that the formation of a bereaved family delegation and transparent ways to find out the truth will be discussed.

After the closed general meeting, a briefing is scheduled to inform the contents of the meeting this afternoon.

Many families are expected to stay here even after the general meeting is over.

On the second floor of the airport, more than 110 tents were prepared that had been reorganized, including quarantine and cleaning work.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, which received the application for the use of tents, expected more than 100 generations of bereaved families to stay at Muan Airport.

At the same time, small-scale searches to recover the belongings and victims are also being carried out at the scene of the accident.

So far, 1,200 articles have been found, and 300 identified items have been handed over to their families.

In addition, some of the additional recovered victims' bodies plan to hold a joint funeral at the memorial service on the 18th.
