Joo Jin-woo, chairman of the legal advisory committee, explained in a party notice that Jeon's remarks constitute a crime of coercion, intimidation against the general public, and defamation by spreading false information.
He then criticized the Supreme Court's precedent that the crime of rebellion against the Democratic Party will end with the lifting of the emergency martial law, and that the sophistry that the rebellion is still underway was only intended to intimidate the people with the crime of inciting rebellion.
In the meantime, he warned that if the former lawmaker continues to file charges against the general public in the future, the people's power will also take strong measures, including accusations against the public.
