In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea repeatedly pressed the opposition party to pass the Insurrection Special Counsel Act, which was reissued by the opposition party, saying that the ruling party is actually creating a "cancellation law" that reduces the scope of the investigation.

The ruling party countered the opposition's pressure on the opposition party, which proposed a timetable for handling the re-announcement of the independent counsel law, by preparing for discussions on its own amendments, which is tentatively called the "Gyeom Special Counsel Act."

The plan is to focus on the scope of the investigation from the declaration of emergency martial law to the lifting of the law, and to discuss the deletion of "foreign exchange crimes" included in the opposition special counsel law at the general meeting of lawmakers on the 13th.

In addition to concerns that the opposition party cannot continue to be dragged around by the independent counsel's offensive, it is interpreted that the push for negotiations with the Democratic Party through its own independent counsel law could serve as a justification for preventing the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit's excessive attempt to arrest President Yoon.

However, internal doubts about the special prosecution itself, such as concerns about the leakage of the details of the investigation, which borrowed the form of a separate investigation or briefing, are troubling aspects.

The Democratic Party of Korea set the day that the ruling party's discussion of its own independent counsel law is nothing more than a "delay strategy."

The reintroduced civil war has made it clear that it will remain unchanged in its position to deal with the independent counsel law at the plenary session on the 14th and 16th at the latest.
