Two days ago, the Asahi Shimbun reported that a Korean student in his 20s, who injured eight people by wielding a blunt weapon at a Japanese university, claimed bullying and Izime as the motive for the crime.

"We had no choice but to hit people in the same classroom to get him to quit," the suspect, who is in the Department of Sociology at Hosei University, stated.

However, it is known that the police have not yet secured testimony from officials to support these claims.

The suspect entered the university in April 2023, and police are continuing to investigate the incident, including searching the home.

The international student hit eight students' heads and arms with blunt instruments in the classroom ahead of the class on the afternoon of the 10th, and all the victims are known to be mild.
