While the North Korean military deployed to the Kursk front is known to have suffered enormous power losses, some analysts say it is quickly adapting by gaining combat experience.

The Associated Press reported that there is a consensus among Ukrainian forces that the North Korean military is rapidly changing.

According to a Ukrainian military report, the North Korean military suffered great damage from ambush attacks or exposure to drones while traveling in groups in open areas, but was agile and skillful in night operations.

"For the first time in decades, the North Korean military is gaining actual combat experience," a spokesman for Ukraine's military intelligence service said. "We are also learning how to deal with drones equipped with explosives."

At the same time, he evaluated that the skilled North Korean military would pose a threat not only to Ukraine and Europe, but also to the world.

A Ukrainian soldier who participated in the actual battle told the Associated Press that the North Korean military was systematic, well-trained, and more professional than the Russian military.

Dorothy Shay, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, also warned of the dangers of the North Korean military's rapid acquisition of combat skills at a meeting of the U.N. Security Council on the 8th.

"North Korea is benefiting significantly from receiving Russian military equipment, technology, and experience, which further improves its ability to wage war against neighboring countries," Deputy Ambassador Shei said.
