The People's Power said it does not believe that the recent rise in approval ratings is due to the good performance of the ruling party, the government, or the president.

Kim Dae-sik, a senior spokesman for the floor, told reporters at the National Assembly that the Democratic Party of Korea is so busy with legislation and one-way traffic that the public also seems to have a strong check psychology that "this should not be the case."

Park Hyung-soo, the deputy floor leader, also expressed his cautious stance, saying, "I can think of giving a boost to the party's sluggish atmosphere, but it is dangerous to lean on it and decide on a certain direction."
