Rep. Yoon Gun-young of the Democratic Party of Korea said that there are continuous calls for the resignation of Kim Sung-hoon, the deputy chief of security, who is considered the so-called "Kim Gun-hee line" within the Presidential Security Service.

Representative Yoon wrote on his SNS, saying that the demand erupted at a meeting of the deputies of the Security Agency today.

He then pointed out that common sense employees would all feel the same way, saying, "Who can understand that some people are trying to ruin security and protect criminals through their status."

At the same time, Representative Yoon urged Deputy Kim to express his position on the employees' demands for resignation.

Controversy is expected as the senior security officer who demanded Kim's resignation is known to have been immediately issued on standby.
