The People's Power will hold a general meeting of lawmakers today (13th) to discuss whether to propose its own martial law independent counsel law against the "insurrection independent counsel law" proposed by the opposition party.

The People's Power, led by the Democratic Party of Korea, is in a position that the independent counsel's law on rebellion, which has been reissued, is unacceptable due to the wide range of investigations, including the addition of foreign exchange attraction charges.

In addition, the "third party recommendation" method, which the Democratic Party of Korea emphasized that it made concessions, is also considering distributing it to the Korean Bar Association and the Court Administration, not the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and shortening the investigation period.

However, it is unclear whether the plan to propose the Special Prosecutor Act will be decided by the party's opinion at the general meeting, as there are mixed opinions on the proposal of the Special Prosecutor Act.
