The Military Manpower Administration said it began this year's military service examination from today.

This year, about 220,000 people born in 2006 who will be 19 years old are eligible for military service, and you can choose the date and place through the Military Manpower Administration website or mobile application.

Physical grades 1 to 3 are subject to enlistment of active duty soldiers, 4th grade is supplementary, 5th grade is wartime, 6th grade is exempt from military service, and 7th grade is subject to re-examination.

Starting this year, the "military service after military service test" will be piloted, which allows people to take a military service test at the age of 20 instead of 19 and join the army at the desired time of 20.

In this regard, the Military Manpower Administration added that previously all military service members had to apply for military service separately after receiving a military service examination at the age of 19, but those born in 2006 can choose the desired month of military service examination and the desired month of military service at the same time.
