People's Power "Democrats Silence on Deploying North Korea to Russia...National Security Destruction Special Counsel Act"

The People's Power criticized the Democratic Party for pushing for an independent counsel law that added "foreign exchange crimes," silent on the horrors of young North Koreans forced into the Russia-Ukraine war and immersed themselves in undermining South Korea's national security.

Senior spokesman Shin Dong-wook said in a commentary that the independent counsel law, ordered by Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung, is a "national security destruction independent counsel law" that can effectively neutralize the defense capabilities of the South Korean military based on the South Korea-U.S. alliance and benefit North Korea.

In particular, he pointed out that including foreign exchange crimes in the Special Prosecutor Act is an unconstitutional and traitorous attempt to criminalize even normal national security policies and an anti-national act that denies the constitution and identity of the Republic of Korea.

There are also criticisms that it is Kim Jong-un's special prosecutor Shim Kyung-ho, and the Democratic Party of Korea urged the North Korean youth to face the terrible reality and abolish the special prosecutor law.
