Opposition members said at a press conference at the National Assembly that the parliamentary investigation is the last opportunity for President Yoon, who is about to go through judicial proceedings, to stand proudly in front of the people.
They also said to the people's power that whether or not to adopt President Yoon's witnesses is not subject to negotiation, and argued that if they refuse to engage in proper special committee activities by the far-right, they will not be able to avoid public criticism.
The special parliamentary investigation committee will hold three hearings on January 22, February 4 and 6 after receiving reports from the Ministry of National Defense and the military tomorrow (14th), and the presidential office and the prime minister's office the day after (15th).
