Jeong Jae-wal, CEO of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Korea's leading orchestra, expressed his determination to grow to a level comparable to the world's most prestigious Berlin Philharmonic in 10 years.

Jeong Jae-wal held his first press conference since taking office in October last year and said he would promote the high level and potential of the K-classics to the world through collaboration with young and talented artists, composers, and various genres.

To this end, specific goals will be set step by step, including securing an exclusive concert hall, recording all Mahler symphonies, and challenging Gramophone's "Orchestral of the Year."
