In response to the observation that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi could visit South Korea soon, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said there was no information it could provide.

"China and South Korea are important neighbors and cooperative partners, and the promotion of healthy and stable development of China-China relations is in the joint interest of the two countries," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jacun said at a regular briefing.

Earlier today (13th), a South Korean foreign ministry official said, "We are closely communicating about the overall high-level exchanges between South Korea and China, including Minister Wang's visit to South Korea," adding, "The specific timing of our visit has not yet been confirmed."
