Muan International Airport's runway is closed for five days until dawn on the 19th.

The closure period of Muan International Airport has been extended for another five days.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's aviation notice, the runway of Muan Airport has been closed until 5 a.m. on the 19th.

This is the third extension of the runway closure period at Muan Airport, which was temporarily closed until the morning of the 1st immediately after the accident on the 29th of last month, and then extended again to the 14th following the 7th.

The closure appears to have been extended as the search and investigation of the accident site is ongoing, and considering the time it takes to finish repairing airport facilities due to the disaster, the runway closure period is likely to be extended again.
