The police deployed the security team of all constitutional judges in the 'President Yoon's impeachment trial.'

Police have strengthened security for all constitutional judges as the Constitutional Court is proceeding with the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Acting National Police Agency Commissioner Lee Ho-young said in a question on pending issues at the Public Administration and Security Committee yesterday (13th) that all constitutional judges have been given home safety management and a dedicated security team has been deployed to operate them.

In the past, the police have strengthened individual protections for constitutional judges during the 2014 Unified Progressive Party dissolution trial and the 2017 impeachment trial of former President Park Geun Hye.
