A judge-turned-professor said, "An employee of the National Guard should refuse unfair instructions."

Ahead of the execution of the second arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol, a former judge of the Seoul Central District Court urged the Presidential Security Service not to follow unfair instructions.

Cha Sung-an, a professor at University of Seoul Law School, held a press conference in front of the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul yesterday (13th).

Professor Cha argued that the order of the head of the Security Service to block the execution of arrest warrants legally issued by the court was an unfair order.

He then emphasized that there is no obligation to obey clear illegal orders, and that civil servants are not soldiers and are not punished for defiance even if they refuse unfair orders from their superiors.

In addition, he asked the security officials to submit an explanation for rejection of unfair instructions, and he asked them to send it to their families in order to leave evidence, but the document is safe.
