In addition, Democratic Party of Korea's policy committee chairman, Jin Sung-joon, insisted that "consumption cardiopulmonary resuscitation" should be carried out as an emergency supplementary budget for public welfare recovery subsidies and local currency issuance.

Chairman Jin said at the floor meeting that the prolonged "civil war" has blocked all parts of the Korean economy's "consumption arteries" and an extra budget is inevitable to revive the struggling domestic market.

He then pointed out that if consumption shrinks, high exchange rates, and high oil prices overlap, it may be the Korean version of the "lost decade."

Chairman Jin said that the government only repeats the early execution of the budget, but what effect will it have when there is no change in the total amount and total expenditure of the budget, and stressed that the drastic supplementary budget should speed up the people's livelihood.
