Yoo Seung Min, former president of the Korea Table Tennis Association, has been elected as the president of the Korea Sports Association, which will lead Korean sports for the next four years.

In the 42nd sports presidential election, which ended a while ago, candidate Yoo Seung Min received 417 votes, beating incumbent chairman Lee Ki-heung, who received 379 votes.

Candidate Yoo Seung Min, a former gold medalist in table tennis at the 2004 Athens Olympics, has gained administrative experience by serving as an IOC athlete committee member and president of the Table Tennis Association, and will lead the Korean Sports Council until 2029.
