Candidate Yoo Seung Min has been elected as the president of the Korea Sports Council, which will lead the overall sports of Korea over the next four years.
Candidate Lee Ki-heung was also expected to serve a second term, but Yoo Seung Min was eventually elected.
Let's hear how you feel about winning the election.
[Yoo Seung Min / 42nd president-elect of the Korea Sports Council]
Thank you so much. Rather than feeling good, I feel a lot of responsibility. And I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the five candidates who have traveled on this journey together. In particular, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my fellow seniors and juniors at the With You camp who have been with me.
As I said earlier, physical education has too many pending issues. We have to solve the current issue one by one. I don't think it's possible alone. I think it's possible when the athletes and many sports officials here work together. I'm lacking that role, but I'll try my best.
Please continue to show a lot of interest and encouragement. Please don't lose your pride as an athlete. Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the NEC officials who joined me today. Thank you.
