rice cultivation area adjustment system is a system promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food from this year to solve the problem of overproduction of rice that is repeated every year.

Reducing farms are allocated first to public reserves, and unfulfilled farms are excluded from the allocation of public reserves.

Regardless of the land category, the entire farmhouse that grows rice is subject to reduction in cultivation area (excluding eco-friendly rice and powdered rice farms), and the basic principle is to reduce the area of each farmhouse.

The city plans to induce the reduction of rice cultivation area by participating in the strategic crop direct system, cultivating landscape crops such as rapeseed, buckwheat, and cosmos, and fallow. The city of

plans to send a "Guide to Imposition and Recommendation on the Adjustment of the Cultivation Area" to rice farmers by the end of this month.

Farmers must submit an objection application or an implementation plan to the Eup, Myeon, Dong Administrative and Welfare Center based on the location of farmland by the 21st of next month if they need to modify information such as the cultivation area stated in the guide or want to implement it in other ways.
