Rep. Jung Sung-ho of the Democratic Party of Korea said that President Yoon Suk Yeol has already been judged emotionally by the people, and even conservatives argued that it is unimaginable for President Yoon to return.

In an MBC radio interview, Chung said, "If the impeachment of President Yoon is confirmed by the Constitutional Court, I think the people's power will change their position that it has nothing to do with him."

He also said that in terms of state stability, the impeachment trial should be concluded quickly and the procedure is completely different from the criminal trial, and that linking representative Lee Jae-myung's trial with the impeachment trial of President Yoon is a strategy of the people's power.

Chung pointed out, however, that the Democratic Party lacked responsibility as the first party in the floor, with the Democratic Party too far ahead of the criticism of acting president Choi Sang-mok.
