The government plans to secure as many hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies as possible to prevent gaps in treatment during the Lunar New Year holiday and guide them to 129 call centers and emergency medical portals.

It was decided to designate one dedicated officer at 413 emergency medical institutions nationwide to monitor emergency room conditions and operate a dedicated team in the Central Emergency Medical Situation Room to respond to high-risk mothers or newborns.

In addition, hospitals specializing in special diseases such as resin conjugation and acute abdominal pain plan to establish a holiday duty system and designate 10 new regional cardiovascular disease centers in preparation for cardiovascular disease.

From the 22nd to the 5th of next month, the government will set the Lunar New Year's Day Emergency Response Week, and today (16th) will discuss measures for the holiday emergency medical system at a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters.
