The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Creative Content Agency, and the Game Culture Foundation have completely improved the "Game Life Balance" websites and apps to prevent children and adolescents from using excessive games and to create the right game culture.

The revised game and immersion prevention and healing manual aims to prevent and heal problems caused by excessive game use by game users forming healthy and balanced game habits. The manual consists of prevention (for children, adolescents, parents, and teachers) and counseling (group cognitive treatment techniques), and provides customized educational programs for each subject and counseling guides for each session.

In particular, eight game and immersion healing centers nationwide have provided professional game and immersion counseling to individuals, groups, and families so that they can check game usage patterns and receive healing programs. In addition, through self-diagnosis using a comprehensive game usage scale, game literacy (controlling power, utilization power), game use problems (visibility, failure to control, daily life problems), and game needs satisfaction (autonomy, relationship, ability, etc.) can be systematically identified. In addition, nine additional inspection tools, including the Internet over-immersion scale, will be provided.

Alternative activities outside of games will also be strengthened. A "game and immersion culture and art healing program" using music, art, and sports will be prepared, providing opportunities for children and adolescents to experience various activities. Kim Kyung-il, chairman of the Game Culture Foundation, said, "We will create a sustainable and systematic environment to develop healthy game usage habits from the school age of children and adolescents."

Anyone can use and receive counseling at eight game and immersion healing centers nationwide for "game and immersion prevention and healing manuals," and for more information, contact each healing center or the representative phone of the Game Culture Foundation (1577-0208). In addition, the Game Culture Foundation operates a variety of programs such as Visiting Game Culture Class, Guardians Game Literacy Education, Game Culture Family Camp, and Game Time Selection System, and details can be found on the Game Life Balance website.
