The Democratic Party of Korea released a related recording file, raising suspicions that Myung Tae-kyun requested personnel management at the Yeouido Institute, a public power think tank, at the request of a conservative YouTuber.

According to the recording, Myung said in a phone call with an acquaintance, "Yesterday, Dr. Ko Yeouido Institute, said that he asked for a favor, so I talked to about 10 advisors and did it for him."
