The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit has consolidated its policy to deal with the first sitting president.

As the prosecution and the joint investigation headquarters investigated the military general and the police command and handed them over to trial, many martial law cases were revealed, and even if there was no direct presidential statement, they judged that there was no problem in proving the charge of "insurrection."

An official from the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit also said that since a day has passed since the arrest, most of them have been prepared for an arrest warrant, suggesting that the claim is imminent.

A face-to-face investigation can be attempted again prior to a warrant request, but there is no explicit regulation on whether President Yoon can be forcibly detained in a detention center only with an arrest warrant.
