Joo, the chairman of the party's legal advisory committee, said in an official statement that the Democratic Party of Korea charges lawmakers without context when only "Lee Jae-myung" comes out, much less to the general public.
He then criticized Lee's act of acting as an "agent of accusation" with taxpayers' money, saying that the more he made the accusation, the more innocent it would only pile up.
Earlier, the People's Power submitted a resolution to the National Assembly to demand the expulsion of the former lawmaker, who was controversial over his remarks, "If you spread fake news related to the incitement of civil war through Kakao Talk, you will file a complaint."
