The National Assembly's Education Committee held a plenary session and decided to call for an audit by the Board of Audit and Inspection on the government's process of increasing medical schools and disposing of majors.

The People's Power expressed opposition, saying there was no prior agreement on the audit request, but the Democratic Party of Korea passed the agenda with a numerical advantage.

The audit request passed this time included the decision process to increase medical schools, the process of allocating medical school quotas, and government measures for not returning medical students.
