As the cold wave is lifted, milder weather than usual is expected to continue until next week, which includes this weekend, holidays, and the season 'Daehan'.
In particular, as the temperature rises, there is a concern that the risk of "thawing safety accidents" such as thin ice and ice breaking will increase and the possibility of forest fires will increase.
Reporter Jung Hye-yoon's report.

The cold, which had been going south periodically, has greatly eased.
This is because the center of the cold air located in the north of the Korean Peninsula has escaped to the northeast and mildly mobile high pressure has begun to fill the area.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said temperatures will gradually rise until this Sunday, and weather will continue to be milder than usual for the time being.
Especially on Monday, the coldest season of the year, the highest inland temperature such as Seoul is expected to rise to around 10 degrees Celsius.
The Korea Meteorological Administration expected milder weather than usual to continue in the future.
[Kyung Sang-min / Meteorological Agency Forecast Analysts: Temperatures are expected to be higher than usual due to westerly winds amid mostly sunny weather due to high pressure for the time being.]
However, it is feared that the risk of safety accidents during the thaw will increase, such as melting or breaking ice in frozen areas, as temperatures will remain below freezing at night and temperatures will rise by video during the day.
[Woo Jin-gyu / YTN Disaster Advisory Committee, Meteorological Agency Information Officer: It is easy to operate during the day due to high temperatures and the growing difference in temperature between night and day, but it is included in the period when thin ice can appear on the road to work and traffic increases, and lakes and small reservoirs may be frozen. Because of the overall increase in temperature, the ice in these areas can be weakened...]
Therefore, during the thaw when temperatures rise, children and adolescents should refrain from accessing frozen areas around rivers and the edge of reservoirs, which have weakened due to ice melting, and should be banned from activities on ice.
In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to building cracks and collapse ground subsidence, and to slow down and check if soil or rocks are flowing down when passing through areas at risk of falling rocks.
For the time being, mild westerly winds will strengthen the special dry weather in the East Coast region, and the risk of fires such as wildfires may increase.
Ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, the Korea Forest Service plans to operate the Spring Wildfire Warning Period from the 24th of this month, about a week earlier than usual, and strengthen monitoring and crackdown on forest fires.
